Over the course of the next year Project Safekids, local sponsors and the corporate community will be undertaking one of the largest child safety measures ever attempted. The challenge is to provide Project Safekids Amber Alert DNA Kits and Digital ID’s to 100,000 children per state! Project Safekids will be working with our local partners to create awareness for the program through local and national media campaigns.

Project Safekids will be initiating sponsor locations through partnerships with local members, fraternal organizations and associations across America. Project Safekids will extend special pricing to these organizations so that the services may be passed along to customer or membership base.

What Happens At The Event?

A Project Safekids staff person is on hand to officiate the event. The staff person will collect "All 10" Digital Fingerprints of the child utilizing bio-metric fingerprinting scanners originally developed for federal law enforcement agencies.

The staff person will also capture a Digital photograph of the child to be used to create the profile. Once the information has been collected our proprietary software creates the Amber Alert Digital profile for the parents.

The profile is stored temporarily on a CD-Rom for the parents so that they may transfer the child's information to their own computer at a later time. Each profile contains the most advanced child identification profile available. Project Safekids does not database any information of the child. The parent retains the only copy of the child's information.

The Amber Alert Digital ID Profile consists of: 

  • All Ten Digital Fingerprints enhanced 3X the normal size of the child. The fingerprints are 1200 D.P.I. so they can be analyzed quickly by law enforcement should the need ever arise.

  • A missing children's flyer is also created of the child.

  • A ,html web page of the profile is included for major Amber Alert web portals.

  • The profile fully integrates with law enforcement information systems such as Code Red, Locater, Trak and BOLO Alert programs, The profile has been created to work universally with all these systems.

  • The profile is fully compatible with all 50 states individual Amber Alert programs.

  • A utility is included on the profile so that the parent may edit the information of the child as they grow older.

COOP Advertising dollars have been made available from many sources for businesses. Companies want to be associated with this program due to the goodwill that is generated from it. The public image of your company and brand should be your primary focus. This event will not only bring you immediate Traffic, Sales, and Free Media to your business. It will also reinforce your position in your community.

The Coordination Process                                             

  • All local schools within your community are contacted and a request is made to the administration for distribution of a parent notice to the student body. The parent notice is then carried home in the child's backpack. This is an extremely targeted way to get the word out!

  • Notice of your event is sent to the media in the form of Media Kits, Press releases & PSA's .Scripts are sent to Radio affiliates who perform "Live On Air" reads.

  • Project Safekids performs pre-event media interviews for your local media when requested. This is an extremely powerful tool. Project Safekids is a consistent guest on news shows around the country.

  • Major Churches and Daycare centers are contacted in the same way as the schools in your community to give you additional exposure.

  • Community organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Sororities, High School cheerleaders etc provide an excellent base for volunteers. they can and will also help get the word out.

  • Local Police and Fire Departments are contacted. Arrangements are made with them according to schedule to have members attend and participate in your event. We also request any special equipment that they use be brought to your event for public demonstrations.

  • Your event is also placed on major internet portals, bulletin boards and social networking sites specifically targeting your community.

  • In markets where available. Major sports teams are contacted for player appearances at your event.
